Из истории термина «футуризм» в литературно-художественной жизни России и СССР первой трети ХХ века

В статье рассмотрены смысловые изменения терминов «футуризм» и «футуристы» в художественной жизни России первой трети ХХ века, а также влияние общественной и социально-политической обстановки на их восприятие. Термин «футуризм» приобрел в России различные толкования, подчас далекие от эстетики и художественной программы итальянских футуристов. В то же время разрушительная тенденция, выраженная в эстетике и практике итальянского и российского футуризмов, соответствовала социально-политическим стремлениям социалистов к ниспровержению существующего строя, но выражалась языком искусства и применялась не к социуму, а к его изображению в живописи и литературе. При этом поиски новых форм общественной жизни сопровождались поиском новых форм живописного и словесного изображения. Переход к мирному строительству в начале 1920-х гг. привел в общественной жизни к смене разрушительной тенденции на созидательную, а в искусстве – к распаду футуризма и замене его конструктивизмом.
Abstract: The article examines the semantic changes of the terms “futurism” and “futurists” in the Russian artistic life in the first three decades of the 20th century, as well as the influence of the social and socio-political situation on the change of their semantics. The term “futurism” has acquired various interpretations in Russia, sometimes far from the aesthetics and artistic program of the Italian futurists. At the same time, the destructive tendency expressed in the aesthetics and practice of Italian and Russian futurism corresponded to the socialists’ socio-political aspirations to overthrow the existing system, but it was expressed in the language of art and applied not to society, but to its pictorial and literary depiction. At the same time, the search for new forms of social life correlated with the search for new forms of pictorial and verbal representation. The transition to peaceful construction in the early 1920s led in public life to a change from a destructive trend to a creative one, and in art to the disintegration of futurism and its replacement by constructivism.
