Falco fasciinucha (Falconidae) - Breeding Biology

The rare Taita Falcon lives in mountainous and riverside terrain in East and South Africa. It breeds in inaccessible rock cliffs. The young are fed almost exclusively with swallows and swifts. The shots were taken in the vicinity of the aerie, commencing with copulation and ending with young leaving the nest.
