Professional and personal competence as a condition for overcoming professional deformation of a social work specialist’s personality

Abstract: The article deals with concepts of “competence”, “competency”, “professional competence of a specialist” and “professional deformation of personality”. According to the goals and specifics of social work specialist’s activity the types of professional competence are described. Here is also emphasized the role of personal competence of social work specialist for the overcoming professional deformation of personality
