The shifting of secondary inorganic aerosol formation mechanisms during haze aggravation: the decisive role of aerosol liquid water
Abstract < µ g m- 3 ∼ 500 µ g m- 3 HNO 3 HNO 3 NH 3 < µ g m- 3 < < < NO 3 -/SO 4 2 - = 2: 1. When ALWC > µ g m- 3 SO 2 NH 3 > 0.7), as well as the high moral ratio of NO 3 -/SO 4 2 - = 1: 1. A positive feedback of sulfate on nitrate production was also observed in this work due to the shift in ammonia partitioning induced by the ALWC variation during haze aggravation. It implies the target controlling of haze should not simply focus on SO 2 NO 2 SO 2 NO 2 NH 3) and aerosol chemical constitution during different haze stages.
