De la teología de la liberación a la psicología de la liberación: una praxis comprometida desde el principio misericordia

The principles of reality-mercy-action constitute the founding triad, which the Theology of Liberation provides for the construction of a liberating psychosocial perspective, which assumes an ethical commitment based on the look, on the recognition of the other, and on the mercy, which recognizes the political implications of action and direct them toward transformation and emancipation. This assumes solidarity and horizontality as a framework for action and rethinks its ontological, epistemological, and methodological bases. This perspective becomes necessary the moment that Colombia is going through in order to contribute to the construction of peace and to the transformation of conflicts, from a concrete praxis, in which frontiers between investigation and intervention are diluted, where the aim is to attempt to overcome bureaucracy, technocracy, and the patronage, and that can walk toward transdisciplinarity. From a clear and determined option for the transformation of suffering, injustice, and exclusion, which are generated in the models of governance and development of neoliberal model is reiterated on a viable and possible alternative for psychology in Colombia and Latin America.
Los principios de Realidad-misericordia-acción, constituyen la tríada fundante que la teología de la liberación aporta para la construcción de una perspectiva psicosocial liberadora, que asume una apuesta ética basada en la mirada, en el reconocimiento del otro y en la misericordia; que reconoce las implicaciones políticas de la acción y las orienta hacia la transformación y la emancipación, que asume la solidaridad y la horizontalidad como marco de acción y que replantea sus bases ontológicas, epistemológicas y metodológicas. Dicha perspectiva deviene necesaria en el momento que atraviesa Colombia, de cara a aportar a la construcción de paz y a la transformación de los conflictos, a partir de una praxis concreta, en la que se diluyan las fronteras entre investigación e intervención, se busque superar la burocracia, la tecnocracia y el clientelismo y se camine hacia la transdisciplinariedad. Desde una opción clara y decidida por la transformación del sufrimiento, la injusticia y la exclusión que se generan en los modelos de gobernanza y desarrollo de corte neoliberal se reitera sobre una alternativa viable y posible para la psicología en Colombia y en América Latina.
