03.03.2025

Discover culture, history and your own past with the Deutsche Digitale Bibliothek.

Jewellery, Japanese paper stencils, a photo of Leuna railway station, a newspaper article on the occasion of the centenary of the Döllnitzer Gose or an advertisement for the wedding of your grandparents: you can find all this online at any time in the Deutsche Digitale Bibliothek!

During the Leipzig Book Fair from 27 to 30 March 2025, you can do your research directly at our exhibition. We will show you the best way to do this, give you tips and explain how you can continue to use what you have found - in presentations, for invitation cards, your family chronicle or at school.

All services offered by the Deutsche Digitale Bibliothek can be used free of charge and without registration - and not just at the exhibition stand.

At our exhibition, you will not only find exciting information, but also a quiz with great prizes! Because we have given our popular cultural heritage bag a facelift. Now washable and even nicer to look at, it's yours if you solve the DDB crossword puzzle correctly.

Come along and find out more about culture and history in the Deutsche Digitale Bibliothek - we look forward to seeing you!
