Barrierefreies Web – eine Frage der Einstellung (Accessibility of Web-Content – A Question of Attitude)

Der technische Fortschritt im Bereich Multimedia eröffnet uns fraglos neue Perspektiven für die Vermittlung und Darstellung von Informationen. Aber er birgt auch neue Schranken! Für welche Nutzer welche Probleme zum unüberwindbaren Hindernis werden können, wird im Folgenden kurz vorgestellt. Die zentrale Frage ist: Nutzen wir die Chance, alle Menschen an der Informationsgesellschaft teilhaben zu lassen?
The technological progress in multimedia opens without question new perspectives of communicating and representing information. But it also bears limitations. For which users which problems could become insurmountable obstacles will be discussed below. The central question is: Are we using the chance to let everyone participate in our information society?
