!ko-Buschmänner (Südafrika, Kalahari) - Herstellen eines Holzmörsers

Zwei Buschmänner höhlen mit einem Meißel einen Klotz des Kameldornbaumes (Acacia luederitzii) aus. In den Boden passen sie einen flachen Stein ein, den sie mit einer pflanzlichen Masse befestigen. Nach dem Härten im Feuer wird die Außenseite bearbeitet und ein Stampfer dazugegeben.
A block of camelthorntree (Acacia luederitzii) is hollowed out with and adze by two men alternating in their work. A flat, hard stone is fitted into it and fastened with a vegetable paste. It is roasted and dried to keep it from cracking and then trimmed to its final shape before being equipped with a pestle.
