Características de los empresarios Europeos: Un análisis de sus diferencias y similitudes

The aim of this paper is to analyze the differences and similarities in the types of individuals who choose to become entrepreneurs in PHOGUE countries. The data source is a cross-sectional survey for the year 2001 and the empirical analysis is performed through a probit model. Results show that entrepreneurs are a homogeneous group with respect to the age, gender, civil state, the non labour revenues and the activity sector, although the nature and strength of the relationship vary across countries.
