Im Rahmen einer Vorlesung über die Anwendung der Hypnose wird in einem eingefügten Film ein Patient mit skeptischer Grundhaltung vorgestellt. Demonstration der fraktionierten Hypnose. In einem zweiten Film wird die gestufte Aktivhypnose, die aus dem autogenen Training entwickelt wurde, als moderne Form einer Hypnosetherapie vorgeführt.
The value, importance and use of hypnosis are explained in the framework of a film lecture. Together with the lecture a number of methods are demonstrated, first heterohypnosis, shown with a patient with anxiety syndrome. After an introductory talk and a few preliminary trials an initial hypnosis is demonstrated, induced by the fixation method. Other induction methods follow, like the fascination method, no longer in use, and the easily applied colour contrast method. Subsequently the course of a fractional hypnosis is shown in a subject with a basically sceptical attitude. Lastly a graduated active hypnosis, developed from autogenic training, is demonstrated as a modern form of hypnotherapy.
