Das Papier ist ein gefaltetes Umschlagblatt, in dem die Gelatinefolie zu CIL XV 4715 aufbewahrt wurde.

Auf dem Umschlag ist in Schwarz "17" notiert und in Rot die CIL-Nummer "4715".

Auf dem Umschlag ist mit Bleistift notiert: "Castro pret". Weiter unten folgt in Schwarz: "Anfora della forma tra 2 e 4, più simile a 4" und "sul colle e nascimento del vetre, in rosso", dann mit etwas Abstand: "dall'altra parte sul collo il segno" gefolgt von einer Zeichnung des Graffito und der Größenangabe "65 mill." und der Anmerkung "graff. nell'argilla molle".

Der Umschlag trägt das Wasserzeichen "BANCO DI SASSARI".

Bei CIL XV 4715 handelt es sich um die Aufschrift auf einer Amphore für Würzsaucen ähnlich der Form Dressel 9.
