Relief der Anubis

Plastik

Das Relief zeigt den hundeköpfigen Totengott Anubis. Er trägt ein langes Gewand und hält in den Händen vor dem Körper eine Keule. Vor ihm steht ein Ibis unter einer Palme. Das Relief entstand nach einer Illustration in Bernhard de Montfancon "L’antiquité expliquée et represéntée" Bd. II,2. Das Relief befand sich ab 1798 im Keller des Pantheons zu Wörlitz. (KSDW)
