Crença e ritual: o passe como tratamento espiritual no "Centro Espírita Caminhando Para Jesus - CECPJ
This ethnographic essay aims to approach the pass as a spiritual treatment within the framework of two overviews: as Creed, working the concept of ontological security, and as Ritual, emphasizing questions of standardization and moral and social requirements in the Centro Espírita Caminhando Para Jesus (CECPJ), located in the Campo Grande neighborhood, in Recife-PE. I will analyze it in its representations, practices and categories. Also, the values expressed in it, through patients and “passistas”. In the first instance, we will conceptualize "spiritual treatment" and proceed to the “passe” treatment, analyzing the entire process. We will also discuss the moral and physical requirements that are shared as belief and ritual. Through these analyzes we will examine the methods and techniques used to perform this ethnographic essay. By means of analyzes and observations, deepening myself in an understanding of a certain social group, I can affirm that the ethnographic essay adopts a qualitative approach. Through observant participation, interviews and analyzes were able to construct the narrative of this essay.
