Das Mädchen Molebo war 5 Jahre zuvor ein Kind mit Kontaktschwierigkeiten (s. a. E 2992). Dasselbe Mädchen, inzwischen 11 bis 12 Jahre alt, hilft seinen Eltern und betreut den kleinen Bruder. Molebo hat jetzt auch Freundinnen ihrer Altersgruppe gewonnen und ist oft mit ihnen zusammen, betreut aber auch sehr oft Kleinkinder ihrer Wohngruppe und ist ebenfalls älteren Personen behilflich. Auf diese Weise fördert sie ihre soziale Integration in die Gruppe der Erwachsenen.
The Film shows scenes of the life of the 11-year-old girl Molebo and her behavioural strategies for her social integration into the group of adults in the camp. Molebo helps her parents in the domestic activities and she also helps sitting her little brother Mongoi. Molebo, together with other girls of her age, participates intensively in babysitting of other small children and gives a lot of tenderness. She also jokes with them, hugs them and also kisses them, although the kiss cannot be observed between adult Pygmies. Molebo helps also very old persons like the charismatic Ambije. This film is a document following up the social development of Molebo, who was some years before a low ranking child and frequently served as "whipping child" sensu lato in hierarchic demonstrations from bigger and dominant girls in the group (cp. Film E 2992).
