Adaptive multimedia retrieval : first international workshop ; revised selected and invited papers
This book constitutes the thoroughly refereed post-proceedings of the First International Workshop on Adaptive Multimedia Retrieval, AMR 2003, held in Hamburg, Germany in September 2003. The 12 revised full papers presented were carefully selected during two rounds of reviewing and improvement. Also included are three invited papers by leading researchers in the area to provide introductory and bakcground information and to complete coverage of the relevant aspects. The papers are organized in topical sections on retrieval systems, texts and ontologies, feature extraction from video, image retrieval, and sound.
