"Aunque verde, todo cinturón Aprieta"

Medellín, in its eagerness to sell itself to the world as a city of services, has become hypocritical with its citizens and has been building from the centers of transnational power some models of exclusionary cities, each time trying to eliminate those who have not had much, but that they struggle with the little, that they have taken Medellin and built other ways to live the hillside, always in a constant struggle, vindicating their right to the city; The hillsides of Medellín, although they have largely been shaped as belts of misery, at the same time they have also become territories of life and resistance. There is sown and you learn to live with dignity but without much money, they know what is green because they come from the countryside and know how to cultivate the land, they are aware that they inhabit a territory with water, trees, soils to care for and respect and it is for that during all these years they have managed to make one with the mountain that welcomed them when the whole city turned its back on them.
