Romanische Gründung im 12 Jh. Im 15-16 Jh weitgehender Neubau der Klostergebäude. Das „Abtshaus“ aus dem 14 Jh als massiver 5 geschossiger Gotischer Bau. Kloster 1525 verlassen, anschließend teilweiser Abgang der Gebäulichkeiten. Im 20-21 Jh. Renovierung des erhaltenen Bestandes. The monastery was founded in Romanesque time during the 12th century. In the 14th century, alterations were made and a new, massive, 5 stories tall Gothic building, called the “Abbots house” was added. Most of the monastery buildings, including the church, were rebuild in the 15-16th century – only a few years later, in 1525, the monastery was abandoned. Later the buildings vanished partly, serving the environment as a quarry for stones. In the 19-20th century, renovations of the remaining buildings took place.
