Javier Sicilia como celebridad trágica y los performances del Movimiento por la Paz con Justicia y Dignidad

Este artículo es la primera de dos partes de un trabajo comprensivo, en el que se describe y analiza la efectividad del Movimiento por la Paz con Justicia y Dignidad que lideró Javier Sicilia entre 2011 y 2012. El movimiento empezó con la repentina emergencia de una celebridad trágica quien, a la postre, resultó su indiscutible líder y que, además, se distinguió por desplegar un repertorio impresionante de novedosas acciones expresivas de sentido. El movimiento ganó amplia visibilidad, movilizó a miles de personas e incidió en la toma de decisiones públicas. Caló hondo en el imaginario social del país creando conciencia sobre los miles de víctimas, de la inseguridad pública y la violencia desbordada y, además, contribuyó a transformar a muchas víctimas pasivas en actores contra la situación general de violencia en el país.
This article is the first of two part describes and analyzes the effectiveness of the Movement for Peace with Justice and Dignity led by Javier Sicilia between 2011 and 2012. The movement began with the sudden emergence of a tragic celebrity who was his undisputed leader and distinguished himself by deploying an impressive repertoire of novel expressive actions of meaning. The movement gained a lot of visibility, mobilized thousands of people and influenced public decisions. It impacted the social imaginary of the country, raising awareness of the thousands of victims, public insecurity and overflowing violence and transformed passive victims into actors against the ominous situation.
