Innovation in der Versicherungswirtschaft

This paper comprises results on innovation as an outcome of several activities of the Research Centre Insurance Market of the Cologne University of Applied Sciences. It starts with a basic research article on innovation in the insurance industry (section A). Thereafter, conference contributions of the 17th Cologne Insurance Symposium on innovation examine the role of law and actuarial services on the one hand (section B) and present examples of innovation within the insurance industry on the other hand (section C). The final section presents some examples of the project work of the bachelor and master courses as well as a description of the innovative teaching module PAM/PAM (section D).
