Bildnis der Sophie von Hannover (1630-1714), Kurfürstin von Braunschweig-Lüneburg, designierte Thronfolgerin und Mutter von George I., Brustbild im Oval. Die Porträtierte trägt ein streng tailliertes Kleid (über einer Korsage) mit Hermelin/Pelz sowie einen gerafften Kragen verbunden mit einer hohen Haube mit Schleier, worunter einige Haarlocken hervorschauen. Ihren Kopf hat die Dargestellte leicht zur Seite gedreht, ihren Blick aber auf den Betrachter gerichtet.
