Verwerfungen in der "moralischen Ökonomie des Wohlfahrtsstaates": Ausgrenzungen prekär Beschäftigter und die Problematik sozialer und politischer Bürgerschaft

Der vorliegende Text befasst sich mit sozialer Ausgrenzung von prekär Beschäftigten durch Kernbelegschaften. Prekarisierung, so die These, muss auch als eine soziale Praxis, als doing precarity, seitens der Stammbeschäftigten verstanden werden. Im Anschluss an eine Analyse gängiger Ansätze zur Erklärung dieses Phänomens wird anhand umfassenden empirischen Materials eine eigene Interpretation vorgestellt. Hiernach suchen die Stammbeschäftigten durch die Abwehr von Prekären eine gesellschaftliche Konfiguration zu behaupten, die als "moralische Ökonomie des Wohlfahrtsstaates" bezeichnet werden kann, und deren Herzstück die strukturelle Verbindung von Lohnarbeit und sozialer sowie politischer Bürgerschaft darstellt.
The text is engaged in research about social exclusion of precarious workforces by the "cores". The first thesis is that the general process of precarization includes doing precarity at the shop floor, i. e. social practices which constitute precarious colleagues as not really belonging to the workplace. After a discussion of typical explications of this phenomenon, the author, taking own empirical data, develops a different approach. In this perspective, practices of social exclusion by core workforces can be interpreted as an effort to hold the moral economy of the welfare state. The structural connectivity of labor and social and political citizenship is at the heart of this social configuration and its defense.
