Münzstand: Kaisertum (MA/NZ)
Erläuterung: Irene übernahm die alleinige Regierungsgewalt nach der Entmachtung ihres Sohnes Constantinus V. am 19. August 797. Sie selbst wurde durch Anhänger des Nikephorus I. im Zuge einer Palastrevolte am 30. Oktober vertrieben und starb im Exil auf Lesbos am 9. August 803.
