Zwergrohrdommel. Betteln der Jungtiere und Hervorwürgen von Nahrung durch die Altvögel. Nur bei älteren Jungen gleitet das Futter direkt in den Rachen. Größere Futtertiere können von mehreren Jungen zerrissen werden. Bei der Kotabgabe schiebt sich das Junge über den Nestrand hinaus, so daß das Nest sauber bleibt.
Feeding and defecation of the young of Little Bittern. The food is passed from the bill of the adult into the throat of older young only. Large pieces of food may be torn to pieces by several young. For defecation the young lean back beyond the margin of the nest, thus keeping the nest itself very clean.
