Architektur

Gotische Gründung im 14. Jhd. Langhaus in den Jahren 1490-1518 neu erbaut, Kirchturm im Jahr 1500. Im 19. Jhd. wurde die feste Kirchhofmauer mit Wehrgang und Toranlage abgetragen. Am Langhaus gehaltvolle Grabsteine des 14/15 Jhd, mehrheitlich des Adelsgeschlechts de „Bube von Geispitzheim“. Gothic founding of the 14th cent. The nave was rebuild within the years 1490-1518, and the church tower (at West) was built in the year 1500 at all. During renovation within the 19th cent., the fortified cemetery walls with battlement and gatehouse were removed. Alongside nave and choir there are skillful gravestones from the 14/15th century, mostly of the nobles “Bube von Geispitzheim”, who have a young man’s (“Bube”) head as crown on the knights helmet.
