Die rechtsdrehende Rotation der Drahtskulptur eines Gesichts bewirkt einen der durch das Amessche Fenster erzeugten Illusion analogen Effekt, den Eindruck einer Pendelbewegung des anschaulich stets nach vorn gerichteten Gesichts. Diese Täuschung wurde von J.Cocteau in seinem ersten Film (Le sangue d'un poète) ästhetisch genutzt.
The dextrorotatory movement of wire face induces an effect analogous to the illusion of the Ames' window, the impression of a pendulousness of the constantly forward directed face. This illusion was aesthetically exploited by J.Cocteau in his first film (Le sangue d'un poète).
