Der Dorfhäuptling von Shivankoreni fertigt einen zylinderförmigen Deckelkorb aus vier bambusartigen Rohrringen und aus den Mittelrippen des Wilden Rohrs. Diese verbindet er in der Technik des umschlingenden Bindens und Wickelns mit gedrillten und eingeharzten Bastschnüren. Boden-, Deckel- und Wandzwischenräume füllt er mit großen Blättern aus.
Abraham, the village chieftain of Shivankoreni, makes a cylindrically shaped basket with a lid (tsivogo), which will later be hung from the rafters of the house as a container for household goods (cotton yarn, carrying nets, etc.). The basket and its lid are made using four hoops cut from bamboo-like stalks, with the help of twisted thongs made from the middle-ribs of the wild boar caña braba, and finally coated with layers of leaves.
