Camilo Torres recordado en vísperas del cincuenta aniversario de su muerte

A highly symbolic act took place in Cali on 7 November by initiative of Monsignor Dario Monsalve Jesus Mejia, archbishop of that city, the third of Colombia: The memory of Camilo Torres Restrepo as a Christian and as a priest. To prepare for the event, Archbishop had written in a magazine of the Archdiocese entitled I Camilo yesterday and today, a sign of reconciliation (Notebooks citizens - Observatory of social realities, number 5, November 2015, p. 8): “The priest Camilo Torres Restrepo, subject to their mortal remains to secret State.1 in the influence of his Christian thought, the silence of the Church and the guerrilla stigma on his name, has a lot to give and teach a Colombia that is projected towards reconciliation, the truth, transitional justice and peace.
Un acto de alto valor simbólico tuvo lugar en Cali el 7 de noviembre pasado por iniciativa de Monseñor Darío de Jesús Monsalve Mejía, arzobispo de esa ciudad, la tercera de Colombia: El recuerdo de Camilo Torres Restrepo como cristiano y como sacerdote. Para preparar el evento, el arzobispo había escrito en una revista de la Arquidiócesis titulada: Camilo ayer y hoy, signo de reconciliación (Cuadernos ciudadanos - Observatorio de realidades sociales, número 5, noviembre 2015, p. 8): "El sacerdote Camilo Torres Restrepo", sometido hasta en sus despojos mortales al secreto de Estado1, en la influencia de su pensamiento cristiano, al silencio de la Iglesia y al estigma guerrillero sobre su nombre, tiene mucho que dar y enseñar a una Colombia que se proyecta hacia la reconciliación, la verdad, la justicia transicional y la paz.
