Stomatal Movement in Leaves of Commelina communis
Arrangement of the stomata on the lower and upper surface of leaves. In quick-motion: Opening and closing movements of individual stomata in time-lapse. Animated sequences of the mechanics of the opening movement, as well as ion accumulation in the vacuoles of the closing cells as cause of a lowered water potential.
