Brief vom 1. Juli 1771: In rundem Bildausschnitt links Hintergrundlandschaft mit Kirche, rechts ein mächtiger Baum. Darunter im Hintergrund eine Frau und ein Mädchen, davor stehend der Pfarrer, ein kleiner Junge an seiner Seite. Im Zentrum Charlotte, dem Pfarrer die Hand reichend. Links dahinter Werther, in dessen Arm eine jüngere Schwester Lottens eingehängt. Darstellung in reichen, weichen Halbtönen.
