Competências na era digital: desafios tangíveis para bibliotecários e educadores

From a boarding of the world contemporary, of the new paradigms, the planetary conscience, the globalization, the digital age will be arrived it, being distinguished its impacts on the valuation of the information and the knowledge as value good. It is standed out that the production of the knowledge, in the present time, is a basic question, being about a proper theory directed to its practical one: at the same time where it bases it, it is subordinated it, implying necessarily in changes in the way of pensar/ atuar of the people. The education also is part of this scene of changes and exists reasons so that it is a referencial differentiated in the call "society in net", being an emergent situation the position change in that it says respect to the migration of its identity as transmissing of information and culture for a condition to teach to learn and to think, preparing people so that they draw out the benefits of the school beyond the same school, becoming functional acquired knowledge e, over all, so that they know to use the power of intelligence in the life professional and its daily one. In this way, importance of the education is emphasized it, under approach of a new conceptual and practical paradigm, come back toward the formation of citizens capable to combine it the digital age, whose basic principle is found based in the development of abilities for the use of the information and in the intellectual capacity to transform it into knowledge, with an innovative condition of continuous and increasing learning. Everything this front to the challenging tecno-scientific advances of the last times. The disinformation in this age is perhaps the reason of the existence of many social problems, a time that reaches the human being in its bigger property: the rationality. The knowledge is, therefore, the competitive factor between the people and the society, being important to stand out that of its rational use and its application it is that we obtain to walk route to the innovation and social development. The transference and the applicability of the principles of the significant learning of Ausubel and the use of the conceptual maps deserve prominence place, emerging its representation as facilitator of the conditions of work integrated between librarians and educators, which are co-responsible for the development of the characteristic abilities of this society in change, being distinguished amongst them the ability in information, subject in quarrel in the world-wide context. These presented reflections intend to focus, in synthesis, the digital age and its implications for the professionals of the information and the education, being distinguished it importance of the information and the knowledge as makers of the innovation process and social development and the main questions related to the ability in information, having as approach the significant learning.
