A pleasant collision

Bildunterschrift: "Felix, quarter felix, in imo qui scantem pectore te, pia nympha, sensit!" [Mr. Punch is fond of an occasional classical quotation. To the uninitiated he begs to explain that the above lines are to the effect, that a man may consider himself extremely fortunate if a pious (i.e. well brought up) young lady happens to come into collision with him while skating - thereby proving that the ancients were not so ignorant of that invigorating exercise as is generally supposed.
