Schatten nach Metzger und Wallach

Eine Metzgersche Stabreihe und ein irreguläres Gebilde nach Wallach werden gemeinsam im Uhrzeigersinn gedreht. Die geometrische Mehrdeutigkeit der erzeugten Schatten führt u. a. die Illusion einer gegenseitigen Durchdringung der beiden Gebilde herbei.
A row of rods after Metzger and an irregular object after Wallach are both rotated clockwise. The geometric ambiguity of the their shadows induces among others the illusion of a mutual penetration of both objects.
