Mädchen aus Malingdam halten sich bei einer Quelle auf einem zum Fluß Mumye abfallenden Steilhang auf. Sie entnehmen aus der Quellmulde kalkhaltige Tonerde und bemalen sich damit gegenseitig mit geometrischen Mustern.
Girls from Malingdam are at a spring on a steep slope above the Mumye River. They take chalky argillaceous earth (clayey soil) from the trough of the spring and paint each other with geometric patterns.
