In vier Filmen werden verschiedene Aspekte der Anden dargestellt: Die Salzseen der Atacama Wüste (Chile), Kupfergewinnung im Tagebau in Chuquicamata (Chile), die aus Ignimbrit erbaute Stadt Arequipa (Süd-Peru) und die Geschichte der tiefsten Andentäler Colca und Cotahuasi Canyon (Süd-Peru).
Four films show different aspects of the Andes such as the salt lakes in the Atacama desert (Chile), copper production in the open pit mine of Chuquicamata (Chile), the city Arequipa (South Peru) made of ignimbrite and the history of the deepest Andean canyons Colca and Cotahuasi canyon.
