Wissenschaft Weltoffen 2015: Daten und Fakten zur Internationalität von Studium und Forschung in Deutschland - Schwerpunkt: Internationale Masterstudierende an deutschen Hochschulen

Abstract: In its 15th edition, the study presents data on the internationalism of German third level education institutes and the German academic system. The continuation and further development of the indicators allows the formulation of long-term forecast analyses on the core topics: How internationally mobile is German academia? How attractive is Germany as a study and research location? In 2015, the study model was expanded again to include new aspects of academic internationalism. The chapter on international student mobility was completely revised and complemented with new data. This year, the study focuses on foreign Masters students at German universities. The available offering of English language study courses, study successes, satisfaction and duration of stay are examined. "Cosmopolitan Academia" (Wissenschaft Weltoffen) is published as a bilingual German/English issue.
