The allegorical print on the Jesuit religious order is after a painting from the Jesuit Church in Billom, Auvergne, that was confiscated in 1762 and brought to Paris to serve as evidence against the order during the trial that led to its suppression in France. A galleon ship personifying Faith is presided over by Catholic orders, with Jesuits at the helm. The faithful are brought aboard from smaller ships. As it heads toward Salvation, the passengers must fend off the attacks of the deadly sins and of heretics. One of the heretics has been identified as King Henri IV of France
