Freire y la teología de la liberación: la opción político-cristiana de dos educadoras populares

This article honors Paulo Freire since the autobiographical accounts of two women religious of the Cali Popular Education Network who have been consistent with that Freirean claim that "we can not accept the neutrality of the churches in the face of history" (Freire, 1974, p. 24). These stories intertwine the liberating pedagogy of Freire with the emphatic option for the poor of Liberation Theology as they are based on the political-pedagogical action of its protagonists.
Este artículo le hace honor a Paulo Freire desde los relatos autobiográficos de dos religiosas de la Red de Educación Popular de Cali que han sido consecuentes con aquella afirmación freiriana de que "no podemos aceptar la neutralidad de las iglesias frente a la historia" (Freire, 1974, p.24). Estos relatos entrelazan la pedagogía liberadora de Freire con la enfática opción por los pobres de la Teología de la Liberación en tanto tienen como eje la acción político-pedagógica de sus protagonistas.
