Ecological-Evolutionary Theory and Societal Transformation in Post-Communist Europe

Abstract: Ecological-evolutionary theory offers a distinctive perspective on societal change, ie, it draws attention to the enormous & revolutionary power of technological innovations as a source of change. In this light, some implications for European postcommunist societies in the context of transformation are considered. Ecological-evolutionary theory also offers a distinctive perspective on human nature; implications of this are discussed
