La comunicación política y las elecciones del 2006: la teoría de la comunicación y el dictamen de validez de la elección presidencial

El presente artículo tiene como objetivo analizar, bajo la luz de la teoría de la comunicación, la posición asu­mida por el Tribunal Electoral del Poder Judicial de la Federación en su dictamen de validez de la elección presidencial que dedica buena parte de su contenido a la propaganda electoral en medios de comunicación, sobre todo en televisión y, en menor medida, en radio. Se toma como materia de análisis el propio dictamen que consigna las irregularidades expuestas en materia de comunicación, las cuales fueron parte del proceso electoral, cuya validez fue ampliamente cuestionada por distintos sectores de la sociedad mexicana.
The present article has as its objective to analyze, under the light of the theory of communication, the position assumed by the Electoral Court of the Judicial Power of the Federation in its report of the validity of the presidential election that dedicates a major part of its analysis to the electoral propaganda in the communication media, above all on television and in a lesser measure, on the radio. It takes as its subject matter the same report that records the irregularities exposed in the field of communication that were part of the electoral process whose validity was widely questioned by different sectors of the Mexican society.
