International ausgerichtete Privatschulen im lokalen Kontext - Scharnierstelle wirtschaftlicher Globalisierung?

Abstract: Die Zunahme international ausgerichteter Privatschulen ist gegenwärtig nicht übersehbar, u. a. ist sie in Frankfurt/Rhein-Main zu beobachten. Dabei stellt sich die Frage, wie diese Schulen im spezifisch lokalen Kontext global city eingebettet sind und zur Geltung gebracht werden. Es zeigt sich, dass international ausgerichtete Privatschulen die Funktion eines Standortfaktors für das lokale Wirtschaftssystem haben. Ihre Bedeutung für die lokale Bildungsorganisation ist kritisch zu reflektieren. (DIPF/Orig.)
Abstract: The increase in the number of internationally oriented private schools cannot be overlooked at present, as can be observed in Frankfurt/Rhine-Main. This raises the question of how these schools are embedded and brought to bear in the specific local context global city. It becomes evident that internationally oriented private schools have the function of a location factor for the local economic system.
