Representación política y participación ciudadana en las democracias

El trabajo gira en torno a la representación política y los mecanismos para la participación ciudadana en las actuales democracias. Se analiza la controversia entre mandato e independencia de los representantes respecto de los electores y se evalúan el impacto de la participaciónno electoral en la representación de intereses, la solución de conflictos y la legitimidad de los representantes políticos.
This essay revolves around the theme of political representation and the mechanisms for citizen participation in today’s democracies. The controversy between mandate and independence of the representatives in respect to the voters is analyzed and it evaluates the impact of the non electoral participation in the representation of interests, the solution of conflicts and legitimacy of the political representatives.
