Abstract: The properties of polymers are influenced both by their topology and also by the degree of semiflexibility of their segments. In this thesis the Monte Carlo simulation study of different topological structures by means of the bond fluctuation model (BFM) was presented. In the study both branching and/or presence of loops and semiflexible behavior were accounted for. For this a generalization of the simulation method combining semiflexibility and branching was performed. Simulation results were confronted with the results of recent analytical extensions of the generalized Gaussian structures picture to the case of semiflexible branched polymers and rings
Abstract: Die Eigenschaften der Polymere werden sowohl von ihrer Topologie als auch vom Grad der Semiflexibilität ihrer Segmente beeinflusst. In dieser Arbeit wurden Monte Carlo Simulationen der verschiedenen topologischen Strukturen mit Hilfe des Bond-Fluctuation-Modells (BFM) vorgestellt. In den Studien wurden Verzweigungen und/oder Schleifen und das semiflexible Verhalten berücksichtigt. Dafür wurde eine Verallgemeinerung des Simulationsmodells erarbeitet, die die Semiflexibilität und die Verzweigung kombiniert. Die Ergebnisse der Simulationen wurden mit kürzlich erfolgten analytischen Erweiterungen der generalisierten Gaußschen Strukturen für semiflexible baumartige Polymere und Ringpolymere verglichen.
