Projektionen des Personalbedarfs und –angebots in Pflegeberufen: Daten und Ziele

Simons Beitrag widmet sich der Binnendifferenzierung von Pflegeberufen und deren Abbildung in den amtlichen Statistiken, die jeweils als Grundlage für die Erstellung von Pflegekräfteprojektionen dienen. Zudem erhebt Simon den Anspruch methodische Mängel in bisherigen Veröffentlichungen aufzudecken. In diesem Beitrag greifen wir die Kritik von Simon auf und legen dar, inwiefern seine Argumente gegen die Pflegestatistik und die Gesundheitspersonalrechnung – aus unserer Sicht – nicht zutreffend sind. Wir werden zudem in einer kurzen Form dem Leser darlegen, welche methodischen Überlegungen und Daten in der Projektion von Afentakis/Maier (2010) eingeflossen sind, da diese von Simon unvollständig wiedergegeben wurden.
Forecasts of Nursing Professions: Data and Objectives Simon's contribution focuses on the internal differentiation of nursing professions and their capture in the official statistics. In both cases, these serve as basis for forecasts relating to nursing professions. Furthermore, Simon contends that there are methodical flaws in past publications. In this contribution, we address this criticism by Simon. We argue that his contentions on care statistics and the health accounting systems are not appropriate. In addition, this article sets out the methodical considerations and the data that were integrated in the projections of Afentakis/Maier (2010) since these were described incompletely by Simon.
