En este artículo, el autor analiza el papel que juegan los medios de comunicación en México en el llamado periodo de transición. Específicamente, intenta contrastar la lógica que tenía la prensa durante el sistema del partido único con la lógica que han seguido los medios de comunicación en estos tres últimos años que culminaron con las elecciones de julio de 2003.
This article analyzes the role played by the media in Mexico in this period of democratic transition. Specifically, it attempts to contrast the logic of the press during the one party system period with that followed by the media during the past three years up to the elections of July 2003.
