Löffler. Im fremden Nest werden die Jungen vom Altvogel mit dem Schnabel geschlagen und am Gefieder gezaust. Nehmen die Jungen die geduckte Demutsstellung ein, so beachtet sie der Altvogel nicht mehr.
The film shows submissive behaviour of older young of the spoonbill. In a foreign nest the young are hit with the bill and pulled at the feathers by the foreign adult. If the young take on a submissive posture they are ignored by the adult.
