Spreizen der unpaaren Flossen und herabgesetzter Mundboden (Imponierhaltung), Kopf-bei-Schwanz-Stellung, Schwanzschlagen, Rammstöße auf die Flanke des Rivalen, Maulkämpfe, Kampfpausen mit anschließendem Imponieren, T-Stellung, Bisse auf die dunklen Kiemendeckelflecken. Kampf ohne klaren Sieger.
Here we have aquarium shots of the combat behaviour of two territorial males of the mouth breeder Tilapia multifasciata. With the males of this species, impressive behaviour is clearly to be observed, both initially before actual fighting begins and again and again during the fight. There is no clear winner of the fight shown; it ends in a draw.
