Desde Tláhuac hacia la sociedad que queremos: notas para una agenda

El trabajo analiza el linchamiento de tres agentes de la Policía Federal Preventiva que tuvo lugar en Tláhuac en noviembre de 2004. Este evento puso de manifiesto los conflictos existentes tanto en la coordinación entre las instituciones de seguridad pública federales y locales así como en las relaciones entre policías y ciudadanos. Se enfoca el problema desde la perspectiva de la agenda de asuntos públicos por resolver para evitar que linchamientos como éstos vuelvan a producirse.
The article analyzes the lynching of three members of the Policia Federal Preventiva that took place in Tlahuac (a southern Mexico City’s suburb) on November 2004. This unfortunate event underlines the lack of coordination between federal and local police forces as well as several existing problems in the relationship between police force and citizens. The problem is also seen under the perspective of the political agenda that should be attended in order to avoid other cases like these.
