Molecular characterization, function, tissue differential expression, and single-nucleotide polymorphism of buffalo TP53 gene

Abstract TP53 p < 0.05), while in the liver, lung, and mammary gland, its expression was the opposite (p < 0.05). Interference experiments in buffalo mammary epithelial cells (BuMECs) showed that TP53 >  T) was found in the TP53 CDS of river buffalo, which is the CC homozygote in swamp buffalo. The results indicate that the TP53 gene is involved in buffalo lactation by negatively regulating the synthesis of milk protein and milk fat.
