Geometric a‐priori evaluation of sample designs

Abstract: Highly complex FEM models for crash simulations require large computing capacities. A meaningful sample design is crucial for applications with large sensitivities. Latin Hypercube sampling techniques allow for a flexible number of sample points without specifying the required number of sample points for specific applications. We present an a‐priori technique for evaluating sample designs for highly sensitive applications.
