Educar para la tolerancia: una labor en conjunto

El presente artículo tiene como propósito revisar la relación que existe entre la tolerancia y la educación y la posibilidad de inducir el aprendizaje de la misma en los niños a través de las escuelas. Así también, siendo la familia el primer centro educativo de los niños y la base de lo que marcará diversas actitudes, comportamientos, creencias y valores a lo largo de su vida, se proponen una serie de lineamientos para la inducción de conductas tolerantes en los niños a partir de la interacción familiar.
The aim of this article is to assess the relationship between tolerance and education, as well as the possibility to induce children in learning tolerance through schools. Family plays a crucial role in the education of their children. It is within the family circle that children learn attitudes, values and beliefs that will guide their path through life. Therefore, this article suggests a series of guidelines in order to induce tolerant behaviors in children through family interaction.
